    Highlight of my day

    My job has spinners.

I went down to the gym today on my lunch break to do a run. I went into the locker room and saw a shadow out of the corner of my eye, but continued on. To my surprise on my way out to the treadmill was a beautiful row of shiny new spin bicycles. Well so long run and hello 5 miles of fun. I was so excited. Its even better because we've had two days of rain. I haven't been on my bike since Sunday, I bet she's getting lonely. I can't wait until this weekend, but until then, I will be spinning at work.

I had thought to get an indoor trainer for my bike this winter, can I reasonably just continue with the spin bikes in lieu of purchasing trainers?

Methinks you're becoming highly addicted ..fast. Isn't it, great? You'll be going on cycling trips with your son one day.

It's ok, I felt great today after doing my 25 kms. ride today..even if those construction dump trucks were clogging up part of the roads through the park.

Oh i am so jealous!! That is so fun. I am going to the gym today at work but we don't have spinners. It is the eliptical for me instead.

Enjoy every minute of your new toys.

Lucky you! My gym at work (a community college gym) only has some nasty old recumbent stationary bikes where the backs wiggle around too much and I never feel like I get a decent workout. I always go for the treadmill instead.

I work at a community college, too! Our "fitness center" is a joke! Seriously. I won't even waste my time using it...even though it's FREE for me. I pay up for a gym membership and use it daily.
