    skin cooler helmet beanie

Interesting. And potentially awesome, since I love my cool wings so much I just got a second one.

My concern is if it's "one size fits all," in which case I'd worry about it being too tight. I usually can't wear any kind of headband or bandana under my helmet on hot days because it gets too constricting. In fact I usually wind up loosening my helmet and sometimes I have to take the ponytail holder out of my hair. On the other hand, one would hope the cooling effect of the beanie would negate the feeling that I need to loosen everything on my head...

p.s. They should make a long sleeved jersey out of this fabric. And a sports bra, too.

Wonder how this beanie would work/feel for women with hair that is longer than pixie/spikey short?

My hair is not as long as others..usually cut so that tips of my ear lobes show, layered and off the shoulders/neck (depending how long before cut again)...so am trying to imagine how it would feel snug, on a sweltering hot day under the helmet also.

    another option

In any temp above 35C+, I can't wear a Buff as I overheat.

HOwever....I have another option that works for me. A Ground Effect bandana-cheap as chips & does the trick.

    Just another option...

I've not tried the skin cooler beanie, but I routinely wear wicking beanies under my helmet. They don't necessarily keep me cooler, but they definitely cut down on the amount of sweat running down my face and neck. Feeling drier and not wiping sweat every 30 seconds makes me feel so much better overall.
