Saturday Nov. 7 was my first ride with both my husband and Granddaughter. We enjoyed a beautiful 8 mile ride on the Greenway near our home. The Autumn foliage was spectacular, showing off shades of orange, golden yellow, deep russet, and so many others that my words do not do them justice! We rode along the Stone's River and a small waterfall caught Angayla's attention. She insisted on stopping and talked "Granddaddy" into walking out into the shallow part via some huge rocks that protruded out of the water! Before continuing on, my husband David, aka "Granddaddy" snapped our picture with his cell phone. The pic is a bit grainy but I want to show off Angayla. She calls me "Grandmommy"!
The picture of me was taken this afternoon at the halfway point of my first 10 mile ride. After the 10 miles, I was feeling so good that I said, "oh what the heck, let's make it 11!" So I actually rode 11 miles today. I felt so good. My husband told me that when Angayla got her new bike just 4 weeks ago, that he would have never dreamed that I would be joining them. I have had my bike for 11 days now and I am amazed at how much I am enjoying riding!

Great pictures! Thanks.
Caprice, that is so beautiful and makes me nostalgic for autumn in Tennessee. If you don't mind sharing location information online, where were those photos taken? I was born in Nashville and visited family there often.
Thanks for posting the pictures!

Debra,
I love, love, love your pics and your story. And your bike!
One of the things I love about cycling is that it makes me feel so darn childlike at times.
