It's true the other cleats have some float (I'm actually surprised you got the black, because the pedals normally come with grey), but float is not a substitute for fit. Your foot will turn that much without releasing, but it'll still have a bit of resistance that will torque your leg over time. Get your cleats positioned perfectly. I'd say do it before you switch to the grey or red cleats, even, because I think the adjustment will be easier to nail down without float. Then, take a sharpie (a metallic one if you have black soles) and draw around the cleats on the soles of your shoes, so you'll know exactly where to position the replacements.
