My Bike's 1st Birthday!

My Madone turned one today! To celebrate, I bought her a little blinkie tail light and took her for a 32 mile ride. I rode her up our nemesis hill and then made a u-turn and flew back down just to give her a little thrill. Then when we got home, I gave her a nice bath so she looks all shiny and pretty. No Birthday cake, but I am going to have some ice cream later to celebrate.

In one year, I've ridden her 3,052 miles and I've loved every minute of it! OK, maybe not every minute. There have been a few crummy rides and some painful hill climbs. But for the most part, it's been a great year on a great bike. It's amazing how fast a year can go by.
