I think you can get pasteurized egg whites in the egg or dairy case in your regular supermarket. I don't know if they come in sizes quite that large, but you could always get more than one container.

There used to be a muscle/fitness store around the corner that sold egg whites in a 64oz container, it was great, but he closed down due to the bad economy.
Does anyone have a good source, either internet or store front? I have an urking for a recipe that I used to make when I was a body builder:
Egg white
brown rice
cinammon
raisins
I throw it all in a skillet and what a yummy breakfast/snack!
Thanks!
Lisa

One thing for certain, we couldn't use up 64 oz. of eggwhites before spoilage for just both of us here.![]()
But egg white is handy stuff to have. This afternoon I used it for supper before cycling off to my exercise class tonight: Cooked brown rice in rice cooker with 1 Chinese pork sausage and poured in a bit of eggwhite 10 min. before rice was done. Steam from cooking rice cooks the added food.
Enjoy your rice dessert, itself!

The way costco sells their eggbeaters is pretty handy - it's smaller containers, but you get 6 of them (each container is 8 "eggs" equivalent). That way you can freeze some and keep some in the fridge. (Might be able to find the same thing at Sam's club or WinCo or another wholesale type grocery store)

Their freeze dried blueberries are awesome!Great company.
Colby,
GREAT idea, yes, I like to freeze the eggwhites and Costco is a super idea. Thanks!

You could also try something like a 'restaurant depot' if you know someone who works in a restaurant kitchen. They have everything... and their cheese section is dangerously inexpensive.
