    Anyone use this pack?

Is the pocket big enough to hold a combination lock?

In case you don't get more helpful responses: I don't own one, but my office mate had one sitting unused on his desk for the longest time (can't find it right now). My guess is that it'd be pretty tight and possibly uncomfortable (because the belt has to be somewhat tight...), unless you don't plan to use it for running (in which case it could be less tight).

    I have this one:http://www.teamestrogen.com/prodNN_4490N.html

You could carry the lock in the pocket or the gel sleeve. I usually put my cell phone in the gel sleeve and stuff blocks, TP, keys, and chapstick in the pocket. Plus you can put a light jacket in the compression band thingy. I love mine.

I run with it all the time. The waistbelt is kind of stretchy, which is nice. The Ultimate Direction ones don't have that feature (or at least they didn't used to). Martha complains about that all the time. I keep telling her to get the Nathan.

I think it would work. I use a very similar pack although the pocket on mine is a little bigger, and I can put my cell phone and keys (and I have quite a bit of stuff on my keychain) in it with no problem.

I have a different Nathan one (only 2 bottles) and I love it. I don't feel it at all. I think the stretchy waistband makes it comfortable. I had a car key, cell phone, money, and my license in there, along with 20 oz. of water and I don't feel weighted down in the least.
I am thinking of getting one with more bottles, since I seem to drink more than most when running.

Thanks! I really want to do this run to the gym, work with my trainer, run/walk home thing this summer.

Right now I just put my running stuff (hat, cell phone, sun glasses) in her office, but I'm vaguely uncomfortable with that. It is still open to the public. Not that I've ever seen anyone just wander in there. But I'm paranoid.

A little extra carrying space will be good too. By the time I'm done with her, I will want some more food.

It would be perfect for running to the gym. I think you could stuff extra food in the one I have (in the gel sleeve). In the winter I would stuff my gloves and earband in there with the phone if/when I took them off. I've certainly gotten my money's worth out of mine.

Pssst: they have them at REI so you could go look at them there before purchasing!
