Your husband builds up, and brings home your brand new Felt team garmin road bike, and you walk right by it. In fact I sat on the couch and looked THROUGH it!! Didn't see it until our roomate pointed out what a nice bike it was...
Yeah, I've got the flu alright. Clearly I'm delirious.

And sadly I'm too weak to even check her out...

    Back to bed.

When a bike lover and LBS owner doesn't even SEE a bike... that's sick! Hope you feel better soon...

Cool about the new bike, though. I can't wait until you get to take it out.

    Well, that's motivation to recover.

Do feel well soon. There's a nice bike waiting for you.

So, RM gets the flu and hubby brings her a new bike.

What will he bring her if she REALLY gets sick someday?

Pepto Bismol... The original truth serum

    Hey All-
I'm STILL battling this flu bug! Getting a bit better, but just when I think I'm over it my stomach rolls over again!
Lastnight my tummy got very rumbly. I got the idea that it might not be the flu, but stress, so I took some pepto. My mom always said that pepto would weed out the "fakers", because if you take it and you are really sick- you will throw it up.
Well sure enough, five minutes after injestion I found out I was REALLY sick!

UGH. AND running hubby has it now. BUT he refuses to throw up. He has a perfect 20 year record of having NOT thrown up. EVER. And he refuses to relent! So he just lay in bed writhing in pain.... I told him he would feel better, but he's standing firm.

Aw gee, Running Mommy. The flu is the pits. And Pepto Bismol is just about as bad.

Do you have any ginger ale? That always does more for me than anything else--besides chicken noodle soup and crackers.

    Hope you feel better soon.
