    My new BF

It came today!!!!! I picked it up from my LBS. I asked them not to open the box so I could see how it was packed inside and take pictures (I'm very visual). We opened the box, pulled it out, and put it together. It's candy apple red and just stunning!
Martin (my favorite British mechanic) let me help him put it together (didn't take long) and I took it outside and rode it. All the shop guys asked if they could ride it, because none had ever seen one before (not a big market in this area for folding bikes).
I got it home, and even tho the winds were sweeping between 36-50, I rode it around the neighborhood for about 10 min. I LOVE IT!!!!! It's light, nimble, and is just plain FUN to ride. I'm so happy I got it. Thanks to everyone for advice and help when I was asking about them. I can't wait to take it on my weeklong bike tour this summer, and for it's initial ride on Saturday morning at a local t-shirt ride.

On my laptop I can't figure out how to resize my pictures, so here's two links:

I'm doing a supported week long ride across Oklahoma (www.okfreewheel.com)

Nothing too big, but I'm going to try it again this year (last year I wimped out after 2 days ). I'm going to do it this year, and enjoy it. Last year I tried to race both days and I discovered that's not fun and takes all the joy out of the adventure. I have a different mindset this year.

Congratulations! I'm so glad you love it! Please post a ride report when you go for a longer ride. And don't forget the photos.

Very cool! Your school year must end before ours. I'm envious. But I'm on Spring Break now!

Thanks, Tulip! I can't wait to take him for a spin this weekend. He already told me he wants his name to be Big Red. I think I like it.

V- we get out of school on May 26th (last day for me is the 27th). We were supposed to be out on the 22nd, but snow days have us going longer. I can't wait... it's been one he&* of a year (and I know you have the same rough group). Summer will be here soon.

I bet you're counting the days!

My group has gotten better. Two of the really tough kids moved. It's amazing what a difference that can make.

We spend so much time on social skills that I know my test scores are going to be in the toilet. Whatever...

PS We got a new bike too, but haven't put any pictures up yet either.

    Thanks everyone.

V-I'm glad your group has gotten better. You're right; one or two can change the whole dynamic. My class was great last week (but my two ringleaders were in ISS). Yesterday, however, I had the red rage.
I'm not counting down yet. State testing is next week, so the week after the testing the countdown will go on the board.
You need to put pics up of your new bike, too.

I was confused about why you were posting about your new boyfriend...

Then about half way through your post it finally clicked... had to get to the part about folders not being a huge market in your area...

I'd love to see the pics.
