    Diamondback Racing road bike?

I'm totally confused. At a local bike shop I rode a very fun Diamondback Racing road bike. I'm trying to do a little more research online, but I cannot find any info. Nothing. Am I crazy?

You are not crazy. My husband used to have a Diamondback road bike. I'm not sure if they still make them now though. Is it a used bike?

    It's a frame from 2008 I think.

Come to think of it, one of my team mates had a DBR for a while too (it met a gruesome fate when the rack that it was on failed on the highway....) From the looks of their web site they are no longer making road bikes though.

A little more thorough digging - it looks like they last made their road bikes in 2007. The model name "Podium #" (1,2,3 etc). If you search the internet for "DBR podium" you will find reviews.

You definitely are not crazy! I own a Diamondback Master road bike which I bought at my LBS in 2006 (it was used, a 2005) It has Shimano 105 components and is a sweet little bike! I love that bike and have 12,000 miles on it. Since I recently bought a new Felt FW3 road bike, I use the Diamondback for errands and around town.

The website http://www.diamondback.com/bikes/ shows that they are making alot of Comfort bikes, hybrids, and mountain bikes, but some have a DBR logo instead of using the full name. I think that they are no longer making road bikes, but I am not an authority!
