ahhh that's right! forgot about them.. ok... now a silly question... since i think of bontrager as trek... would it be "cool" to put bontragers on a non-trek bike?

Ritchey also makes 650 wheelsets. Are you only looking for factory wheels? You could probably get a bunch of options in custom wheels.

ROFL - I think it would be just fine!........you can always tell the bontragers it's a trek and then pray the tires can't read!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

I actually tried to when I got my Aegis Swift built last year. I was torn between the Bontrager Race Lites 650s and the Mavic Kysirium Elites. I finally went with the Bontrager, but they ended up holding up having my bike built. Trek was so busy building wheels for the USPS team that they were way delayed, so I switched to the Kysiriums, which I've loved. It was a toss-up as they were both about the same weight and price. I love the look of the Kysiriums and they've been great wheels - no complaints.

    What's the difference between a 650B Wheelset and a 650C wheelset?
I have the American Classics with Sapim spokes. I love them.

650s are supposed to all end up being the same diameter. 650A had a smaller rim, bigger tires, 650 B has a bigger rim, smaller tires, 650 C has the biggest rim, smallest tires. They are NOT interchangable.
