Anyone know any good cue sheet programs?

Has anyone had any experience with creating cue sheets for group rides?

Ride With GPS does a decent job of creating the sheet from the route but you aren't able to print it to a piece of paper. Other programs will let you download it to a gps unit but not print it.

We want to create a route and print it in cue sheet form to handout at our bike club's official rides.

Any help you might give would be most appreciated.

You have to sign up (not sure if you have to get a deluxe paying account or if a free one is good enough), but Map My Ride will definitely let you print out cue sheets - in fact it has multiple options for how to lay them out and coordinate them with maps.

I've used Map My Ride and also www.bikeroutetoaster.com, and both have cue sheet options. To be honest, I'm not sure if you can print them out - I've just seen the option of saving a cue sheet.

Printing is part of what a paid MapMyFitness account gets you. There are three levels of paid memberships, and each one lets you print out more maps each month. (For a club ride situation, you'd want to print one and photocopy it.)

I know people and clubs who use it to print maps, and it seems to come out fine (for the most part). I only have a free account.

I guess Ride with GPS is working on it.

I always do my own cue sheets on an Excel spreadsheet. I don't trust cue sheets just printed out by Topo or whatever to make sense, and that way I can plug in warnings about dodgy pavement, etc. and landmarks.

We plan our rides with GPS and also then make a cue sheet in Excel. It works out fine.

Thanks so much for your help. It seems that Excel seems to be the best option for now without paying for MapMyRide.
