When Ian was on his OE in Canada, he worked for a clothing shop in Banff (aka a large tourist trap..Jasper's nicer!). One day a woman came in asking where the money changing place was & needed to get GBP's. He gave her directions & then asked if she was going to the UK. Nope, she was going to BC.
I kid you not...
We live very close to Yellowstone National Park - they have a brochure that they give tourists at the gate - one year there was an insert in the brochure of complaints that the park received that were on the ridiculous side of things - my favorite was "there are too many bugs in the forest, you really should be spraying for them". Second favorite was "you should fence the roads so that Bison are unable to cross and slow traffic"
