Hiya... I just found this site... not sure if it's been posted before but it's a good one about prepping for a century... what and how to fuel for it, hydrate for it, and build speed etc... some of it by female racers as well! Just thought some might find it helpful...

Good site bikerchick, I haven't seen it before
I'm thinking I might try a century (as in 160km race) but its a long term goal - next year maybe.
But its very interesting to look around this site - thanks

roadraven... let me know when you do your first century... I have ridden 3 this year and have 2 more that I am registered for... I DO NOT race! LOL... but really like doing organized centuries... if you can ride 60 miles you can do 100 with little to no problems! It becomes more a matter of convincing yourself you can do it than anything...

glad you like the site... I thought it was pretty neat!

Well... my first century will be a metric one, and it will be on a training ride... and I don't anticipate it before spring/summer... I just won't get the endurance training in before then
But be sure, I will let you all know

    Thanks for being interested...
