    Wed Dec 3rd RIDES

Because of the (now rarer as it gets colder) gorgeous weather today, I took the morning off and went riding. Started with breakfast, then did a bank errand and followed that with a wonderful 25 mile country ride.
It was 35-40 and sunny, with a breeze. I had good clothes on and so I stayed comfortable, though by the end my fingertips and toes were complaining a bit, but not too bad.
Now I have to work all evening to make up for it. Well worth it.

An un-ride after work tonight. I'll be off the the gym for a quick bout with the weights. I hate winter. And work, I hate that too.

I am off on Wednesdays, so I always try to get in a good ride if I can. Today's ride was great...36 miles, around 50 degrees with a light breeze. This was the first ride I've had in the 2-1/2 weeks that I've had my new bike where nothing major went wrong. No flat tires, no shifting problems, no getting chased by dogs, no almost getting hit by cars. It was really wonderful.

It was gorgeous as Lisa said. But... I was slaving away, writing my last research paper of the semester. I planned to get out around 1, but I was on a roll and finished at 2. By the time I started to get ready it was 2:30 and the sun was already low...
I went to spin class at night and it was actually fine. But, I think I may have had my last outdoor ride unless it gets warm again. Very cold weather is predicted over the next week.

It was sunny and nice here in RI, though a bit windy as usual especially along the water. I did a 40 mile solo ride. Today, I'm going to meet up with redrhodie to ride. I'll be glad to do some drafting with her today

I'm up....heading out soon. Out my window, the trees are dancing to a Latin beat only they can hear. It looks like a party. Hope I can stay upright!!!

It is cold here, Lisa's weather is my cold. I will get off too late to ride and have too much to do anyway. Maybe I will go to the Lion's Park tonight and see if the light poles are now cloaked in their winter's best. The area groups decorate for Christmas last year the boy scouts did a great display with solar batteries that charged in the day and low voltage lights on the electricity as well.

I did about 10 miles on the rollers, my first session of this off season. Didn't even fall off! Yea me!
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...
