    I own this hill!

Today DH and I went mountain biking at the local trail. When I got on the loop that was the site of my first crash something magical happened. We came around the burm and DH said "here is your favorite part" as we got on my hill. This time though I made it all the way up. The crash was the first time I had tried it and I walked my other three visits since the crash. Dang it felt good to make it up. I stuck out my tongue at the hill as I pedaled away. Ama wins finally!

Great job, Ama! Now you can stick your tongue out at it everytime.

I haven't really ridden since my hard crash last summer. I'm a weenie on the trail now, and walk A LOT of the scary sections that I used to bomb over without effort. You've conquered your hill, I hope to conquer mine one day...

    Thanks Karen!

TG- You will get there, sounds like you are more experienced than me.

My "crash" was more a low speed fall into a pile of scrub brush. Mostly bruises but it still gets in your head because it isn't fun to land on your side/butt/back! The hill has been helped by the rain but it is still rooty so yippee me.

I did eat it trying a new hill but I laughed at that. I made it half up bailed out and then fell over because the hill was so steep I couldn't stand to unclip the other foot. They don't call it The Wall for nothing.
