    New Trainer in the HOUSE!!

    Hi All,
Yep, it's here. I actually ended up getting a cycle ops mag trainer. It was rated better over all than any of the others and it was on sale. I couldn't afford the fluid but I'm pretty happy with this one. Wow! I haven't really done more than put it together (which was a pain) and try out the different resistance levels but tomorrow I'm firin' her up, baby! I'm excited! I can ride again!
    Have a great one,
    Gray

Congrats on the new purchase! This made a WORLD of difference in my training, and if you throw in the Spinervals Hill DVDs, you will begin to not hate (notice, I didn't say "love"), hills again!

    Have fun!

    I love this!!!!

    OMG!!!
I love it! I was sweating more than I ever do outside, but oh my what a feeling!!! Whew! I rode for an hour. nothing too too strenuous but very effective. I did a modified interval I guess. I don't have a computer on the back tire yet so I have no idea how fast I went or how many miles, but I used my heart rate monitor to gague my intensity levels. Awesome! Of course it isn't all that quiet but it wasn't as noisy as I thought given what I've read. I was expecting it to be loud enough to rattle the walls but it wasn't. Very very cool! I'm so excited.
thanks again for all the great advice and encouragement. the knee is not happy with me right now but it isn't screaming at me so I figure that's good.
    Have a great, great day,
    Gray

    Congratulations on your new trainer!

I **WISH** I could muster up anything close to this much enthusiasm for riding the trainer ...

LOL! I know. I can see how this can be boring. In fact, it probably will get there but I haven't been able to get on my bike in a month so I was just really excited to get on it and sweat again. That felt so good. I also watched a favorite movie while on it so I got in a zone and didn't really think about it. I'm sure I'll get tired of not moving but right now I'm loving being able to "work" again.
    Thanks!
