Crazy (that these two were) drivers

From today's news here in Norway, an item from neighboring Sweden:
A car-owning couple were shocked to find their car, that they thought was safely parked, had run into a stone wall. At first they thought some joy-riders had done it and absconded. Then suspicion fell on the two little doggies -- a miniature schnauzer and a hairless Chinese something-or-other -- hiding, scared witless, in the back seat. Apparently the doggies had played around in the front seat and hit the gearshift into neutral, setting the car rolling. No injuries to humans or animals, only to car and wall.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

My neighbors two little kiddos did the same thing one day..... messing around in the car and hit the gear shift - car backed slowly and gracefully down the driveway and right into the bush between our yards. I was cheering for car.... I hate that bush...

I knew there was a reason I always parked my manual transmission cars in neutral with the emergency brake on... try and disengage that ya little mutts!
