Looking for Source of Windbreaker Fabric???

    To disable ads, please log-in.

I bought a terrific Pearl Izumi windbreaker this spring on sale. It doesn't have any pockets in the back which is probably why I got it at such a good price. Does anyone know of a company who sells nylon or polyester windbreaker type fabric? It would be easy to make my own pockets and sew them on.

    Thanks, Carmen

    Irulan,

Thank you so much for pointing me to your website - it's very informative. I really liked your silk screen jersey and shoe covers. My other hobbies are quilting, fabric dyeing and fabric painting so your website was a treat to go through. Thanks again! Carmen

there's an old old thread somewhere on this board about sewing your own, Not sure what keywords would bring it up but it's worth a search. I think it was in the apparel forum.

I bought some ripstop nylon from a kite builder. I think it was 'kitebuilder.com' , or 'kitestudios' or something similar..
