Jinxed stretch of road, finally beat it today!

I've got this one stretch of road that leads back to my house that I swear is jinxed for me. I thankfully don't have to ride it to often because I do have other options but still it seemed everytime I ride it something happens. Once it was my chain that came off. The next time I had an asthma attack. Friday I stopped to put up a tag sale sign on a pole and when I went to start back up the hill, I didn't get a good start and stalled out. I couldn't get my foot out of the cage in time and did the old sideways fall. Ripped up my elbow, lots of bruises and deep scratches on my one leg from where it landed on the pedal...for your viewing pleasure

Anyways, I had to go back today and take down all the tag sale signs I had put up. So I made myself tackle that cursed street again. I finally made it up that *#&# street without anything happening. YEAH!!!!

I know it's silly but to finally make it up the hill there and not have something go wrong was just soooo nice!

    Yikes - that's nasty!

Oh wow, tag sales. That's what we called them in western MA where I grew up. I haven't heard that term used outside of the northeast. In CA (for instance) they're called yard sales.

reverse that for me. I grew up in Los Angeles where it is yard sales and have had to get used to them being called tag sales here in CT. Weird I tell ya!

Just like here they call my Sub sandwiches Grinders here in New England....go figure!
