    SheGotBike! 2008

    I received this email-

Registration is open for She Got Bike! This year's event will take place on September 14, 2008 at Oregon Ridge Park.

Trek will be on site again this year to show off their line of women's specific design bikes and Lifestrength Physical Therapy will be talking about bike fit. We're featuring some of your favorite festival activities including massage, yoga and the fashion show. And we made some changes based on your feedback -- five rides over rolling to challenging terrain, henna tattoos, along with other fun exhibits and vendors.

To register or get more information about this year's event, visit our website at SheGotBike

    In case anyone's interested.

Cool! I always wanted to go to that when I lived up in DC (closer), but somehow I never made it.

Perhaps I shall this year...anybody offering a sofa for the night (reciprocal, of course, in Richmond)? Send me a PM and maybe we can work something out.

Heck, I'll let you have the guest bedroom! I'll be going to SheGotBike so we can carpool. And you know where I live!

I'd like to go to! Could I carpool with anyone who is heading out that way?

Sure! I think I can make my roof rack work for one of our bikes, and the other two can be on the hitch rack.

I live in Capitol Hill, and am able to offer a ride to DC ladies--I have a trunk rack with room for another bike. Just a warning, though, my car does not have air conditioning

If I go, I can bring my folding bike and tuck in the trunk.

Heart of Virginia is the same weekend, and it's a whole lot closer to me.

I'm pretty sure I'll do the Virginia ride. I hope you have tons of fun!
