    My great find today!!!!

It's a Blackburn RX-8 TrakStand Defender, still in the box and I don't think it's ever been used. Got it for a steal, too, for less than $70! (Here's a link to show one that's new: http://twowheelsoneplanet.com/itemdetails.cfm?id=166)

Now, admittedly, I've never used a trainer but I've also been biking only since April. I wanted something to try and help me keep riding during the cold days here where I live through the winter. I am so psyched! Now I just have to figure out how to do it. lol! Do those of you that have trainers ride what would be a regular ride for you on it?? I have some cycling books that probably talk about trainers. Guess I need to break those out and see how to work this into my exercise regimen during the winter months.

Did you ever get the trainer set up? Seems like you did pretty good on this deal. Let us know how you like it.

Not yet. I really hurt my back up a little over a week ago, unfortunately, so I haven't been able to do anything. I've got to get better soon, too, because I'm doing a Turkey Roll ride the Saturday before Thanksgiving. So not alot of time to get this worked out. But as soon as I am better and can get on it, I'll let you know.
