So it turns out a subscriber on my horse email list used to race, and was on the Richard Sachs team. Drool happening as we speak. Now I'm trying to figure out what is more evil; telling me she has a vintage Sachs hanging in her garage unused all campied out and refusing to let it go to a loving home (me) or having it and not riding it. I vote for both.

He was supposedly going to take orders up until the end of August & then that's it. So he could semi-retire in 6-7 years.
I, too, thought about sending him $400, but there are other builders out there. Maybe not with the same mystique, but I know I could get a great custom steel bike and not wait 6 years.
Both very Evil but more so not letting you have it because well you would ride it.![]()
