What to buy?

I am the one with the Pilot 5.2 delivery problem. I went to another LBS last night. They have the 5.2 in a 54, which I did not think would fit - it did, sorta. Tried the 50 in the 5.9 and can't tell much of a difference. Neither are exactly right though, and now I am doubting the Pilot compact frame. I like how low I sit on my old bike (but I don't like that it is too small for me and that it is Steel). I am now frozen with indecision. Where to turn next? I really want a new bike, already worked out the budget and am ready to buy. Urgh.

If it helps, I am 5'5", long legs, short torso and small hands (which is why the women's design was intriguing).
