the good news is; in the article he clearly indicated that he was going to change his wasteful ways. The other people quoted in the article just made excuses.

Armstrong biggest Austin Water user

I find this a bit disappointing, Lance Armstrong uses more water than any other resident in Austin. Looking at the photo of his place he has TONS of water hogging grass and from what I can tell not a lot of native/drought loving plants but the aerial view may be misleading.

I'm amazed they give out information on residential consumption. Sounds like they have no privacy policy.
