A little while ago I posted a thread about getting pregnant and heave cycling:
http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showthread.php?t=7950
Well, just like Nancy said, cycling is not a very good contraception method. I am only about 3 weeks pregnant and it is great that everything worked. Now I also remember a thread about keeping the heart rate at no higher than 140. Here is the article that I found on the matter: http://www.babyfit.com/articles.asp?id=51
It looks like it depends on a person and level of activity before pregnancy. I already feel tired a little sooner than I used to, but so far it does not restrict me to maintain my speed. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

It worked after the first try. I bet that pregnancy will not stop us from keeping on "trying". Thanks!
Congratulations!!!
One of the things I remember most about being pregnant is being TIRED!!!!!
That goes away, though.

I cannot help with the exercise info while pregnant. I was on bedrest with the first and hospital bedrest with the twins.
Enjoy every moment being pregnant, it goes by quickly!
Again, CONGRATULATIONS!

CONGRATS! good luck and a healthy pregnancy!
i'm not sure about the working out thing. but when i use to swim at the gym there was always a lady there that was doing laps and she was 7 months prego. she worked out before she was prego, and said she slowed down a bit as the months went by, but it still made her feel better to work out.
my bf's sister is an ob/gyn and she ran up until she had her c-section, but i know shes a big runner anyhow.
i'd say listen to your body and talk to your dr.

Thanks for the regards and good advice. I will keep on working out because this is what I am used to. I found a few good artciles and they helped. I am pretty sure that my body will tell me what to do.
I did high impact aerobics until about 6 weeks before my first son was born (swam and walked up to the due date). Same thing for the second one. I was back exercising after 3 weeks both times and back to my pre-preg. weight after four months. But... listen to your body. I would be VERY careful about exercising in the heat in AZ (I had both my kids in Tempe, so i know about this). Raising your core temperature is not good for the baby. I have personal experience with this, won't go into details, but you might want to work out inside if it's hard to keep your temp. and HR lower, at least until it's cooler out.
