I just had to share this.

My 6 yr old daughter was at gymnastics last night (she's on the competitive team now) and was moving behind another girl on bars. She mis-judged the distance and got kicked in the face while the girl (her best friend) was casting. One of her teeth was knocked out! Luckily it was a baby tooth and not the brand new top teeth that have just come in! She screamed, then went to the bathroom, rinsed out her mouth, and came back out and finished her rotation on bars and vault! She's a tough one!

She does that and here I am limping around 'cause of my silly knees. There's something to be learned here...

    One tough cookie, indeed.

Watch for any color changes, turning grey, in her permanent teeth. This is something that may happen, even years from now. If it does, she will more than likely need a root canal.

She is a tough one! She's always been somewhat impervious to pain, much to my amazement. We are keeping a close eye on the permanent teeth. They look good so far. Thanks for the advice.
