    Bought a New Bike Today!

But I won't have it until the end of the week. My lbs had to order it. All weekend long Joe and I have been going from one bike shop to another as I test rode bikes. I checked out treks, cannondales, giants, and specialized. I finally narrowed it down yesterday to two. This morning I returned to Black Diamond Bike Shop and test rode my top two choices. The women's cannondale synapse femine 3 compact and the specialized Ruby expert compact and I finally went with the Specialized Ruby Expert Compact (700 wheels this time!). I am sooooo excited. I can't wait for it to arrive! Doing happy dance right now!

I ordered the carbon/gold 51cm. A perfect fit a wonderful ride! Happy dance, happy dance, happy dance.

I will keep my old trek as my winter bike. Hmmmm now how many bikes will be hanging from my garage now? Let's see this Specialized will make number 8 and hubby will be getting a new road bike too. He's waiting for the 2009s and he's eyeballing either a Bianchi or Cannondale.

As soon as I pick up my new baby I will be posting pictures!

    Joy joy joy!

Together Joe and I have 8 bikes. We each have full suspension bikes and we also have hardtails, then there's our current trek road bikes, oh and another mountain bike (which we bought for our daughter who never got into mountain biking) and now my new road bike!

You just can't have enough bikes! Right?!

Congrats on the new bike. I have a Ruby Expert Compact and I can't even express how much I love that bike. I sometimes feel like I neglect my other bikes because Ruby is the bike I always reach for first. I can't wait to see pics of yours!!!
