    Harpeth River Ride

Is anybody doing or has anybody done the Harpeth River Ride in Franklin, Tennessee?

I'm having a colonoscopy the day before...so I definately don't see it in my future.

If you need a respite in the trip home to Indy, we're only two hours north of Nashville. You're welcome to stay here.

Hey, the day after you can ride. It's the day BEFORE that's rough.

Mr. S. I hope the colonoscopy goes well. And I really hope this is just a routine screening.....

Thanks for the offer! The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of getting away for a couple of days. Franklin is supposed to be a nice small town. I might stay over on Saturday night and, assuming my legs will move, do a ride on the Natchez Trace Parkway before heading home. I'm climbing the walls here in Indianapolis.

Franklin is a lovely little town, but not as nice as Georgetown KY. It's VERY busy and congested, but the countryside is beautiful...just like Central Ky.

You might try a B&B for a change.
