    Another bike trajedy

I just found this story on aol, but it happened on the first. A cyclist was killed during a race from a car hitting the group of riders head on!! 14 more were injured. Not much in terms of text, but the accompanying photo says it all!!

Scary stuff. Prayers to all the cyclists involved.

Good grief, can't people bother to take a moment to check to see if it's already been posted?

It's as though there's a mad rush out there to see who can be the first to spread the word about some gawdawful occurrence.

Kind of sick, don't you think?

Bah, yet another thread to put on ignore ...

Thanks for the post RedNBlondies! It is a horrible tragedy isn't it??

and don't worry about above post....

Just IMO but it's easy to just click out of a thread if you've already read it or if it's a repeat, no reason to be so harsh on a poster.

Seriously...this is a rather large forum...to have to look around to see if something has been posted already is quite tedious. No reason to be so harsh!!

    Sorry

I tried to scroll back down to see if this had been mentioned. I was surprised not to have found it.

I've been distracted lately. My husband of 13 years just left me on Sunday. Maybe I scrolled right by and my eyes weren't working.

I'm new here and was just trying to become more active member. I'm sorry I brought everybody down by bringing up old bad news.

    Back to my little hole....

(((((((red))))))) so sorry to hear about your marriage. Hope you can de-stress on the bike.

Don't worry about multiple postings. I think we try to keep accident news in the "Crazy Drivers" section so that people who don't want to constantly hear about every accident don't have to. But don't worry about it.

Hey JoBob, have you ever told someone a story that they had already heard before?

Get out of that hole and keep posting.

Most people repost something when they're new on any forum. Don't worry about it. One forum I read even has a rule that if the poster has less than 50 posts no one is allowed to be mean to them about it.

My favourite example was a few months ago when a video about being attentive and observant was floating around and I counted 16 seperate posts of it on TE alone. It was a great example of how attentive and observant we can be, but every single time someone new saw the video who had missed it before so it was always worthwhile.

I'm so sorry you're going through a tough time. Stay in touch with us here. There's a little something here for everyone and we like to help cheer people up when they are blue. If you like, I can dig up some silly dog picture.
