Hi all,
some of you met Julia last year at the LUNA Chix technical skills clinic in Marin. Julia's bike shop has been devastated by the floods. See attached pictures. She is pregnant and still maintaining her good attitude through all of this.
I've asked how to help and she has said that:
The best way to help is to come to our “flood” sale - probably mid- January after we can open our doors. Much of the merchandise (clothing and accessories), once washed is perfectly fine. But isn’t brand-new. We’ll be selling this at a deep discount. Any amount of compassion is welcome.
Here's the address of the shop:
702 San Anselmo Avenue
San Anselmo, CA 94960

Oh! How sad! They do have a website: gravywheels.net. I don't know if Julia sells clothing over the internet or not. Cindy, let us know when she's opening again. I'll try to make a trip up there if I can.
Will she mail if I cover postage??
We would be more than willing to help. Even if I buy the wrong size, I have 2 males and a female here who also bike.

I'll ask her about online/mail order stuff.....
yes please do and let us know. Even if it's just something simple like an inventory listing with pricing. and I'm with KarenAngel - I'm cover my own postage if she needed me too.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
Hey Cindy... has Julie re-opened yet?
