    More sun please! Whinge...

I'm so envious of you North Americans...

When we were up in Canada we had tons of daylight hours..5am sunrises & 10pm sunsets and oh it was wonderful.

Now that we're back here in Perth i'm dying for more sunlight! Sunrises at 7am & sunsets at about 530pm. I'm digging myself out of the blahs and looking forward to September when days get longer again..It seems all i ever do is bike in the dark! Perhaps some night vision goggles?

I can't complain though, i'm a 25min drive from the beach.., it's wonderful all year I don't have to hibernate in our "winter" and I can bike year round..

Well it must be really annoying that the rest of us are out riding right now, and yacking on and on about it! I hate it when our daylight starts shrinking in the fall. I can sympathize.

CC- at least you were able to "extend" your summer by coming up North for your whirlwind tour. It is hard to believe that we, North Americans, are in the middle of our summer. What a scarry thought Before we know it our days will be getting longer too.

At least your back on the bike and riding. Nothing better than that, right

I agree with Red Rock. And if you think about it September is not that far off. My MIL reminded me the other night that pretty soon the days will be getting shorter again, as in once June 21 comes we will be heading back the other way Even though summer hasn't started I feel like it is already flying bye..Yikes!! I think I need to come down and Visit you this winter CC.

I like winter its a nice break from the searing heat of summer but I must admit I do get a bit stir crazy when it rains a lot.
I have a hideous cold at the moment but today the sun is out so I am thinking of taking a small bike ride to a local cafe. I can have lunch and relax in the sun.

Hey CC - I noticed its going to be 21 degrees in the city that should make for a nice day. Only 16 up here but sunny so I am happy.
The most effective way to do it, is to do it.
