I am a mod-high mileage trail runner and looking for that bra that actually does what it says it will do! (34B) Anybody tried any of the latest ones with success? (Hi support, heat/moisture wick?)
Lots of discussion on this in the gear and apparel section.
Yes, this discussion probably belongs there, but IIRC almost all of it concerns bras for large-breasted women. As those motion studies have pointed out, small- and medium-breasted women have just as much trouble with bounce.
I'm a 34B also, and my choice of the moment is the Champion Double-Dry Glisten. You just missed a big sale over thereVery firm support for running and high-impact aerobics, without a band that's so tight it keeps me from breathing; room for a HRM; no chafing when wet.
I haven't found a bra yet that's supportive but doesn't retain sweat; but these are still comfortable and supportive even when wet.

I am also a 34B (lower mileage) runner, and I recently bought two Champion Double Dry Seamless Full Support Underwire Sports Bra in size 32/34B/C (size 1).
They fit really well (on the middle hook of three, for me) and support like crazy. When I first tried them on, I thought "wow, that's a lot of bra", but during my runs I never even notice I have them on. They also wick sweat very well. You can often find them on sale online. I got 'em here on sale and with free shipping if you buy two.
Good luck!

I'm a bit smaller (34A), but I am also a big fan of Champion bras. Twice a year of so, the Champion website will have a big "all bras $19.99" sale -- I always try to stock up during this sale.
Nike bras are pretty good too, if you stay away from the cheaper cotton ones.
RoadRunner Sports just brought back their Sportek bra. It's the best I've ever used, and cheap, too. Right now they're out of all but XL but they say the other sizes will be back in June. I'm going to order 4 of them!
Thanks so much ladies. sorry for the location of this in general subjects. I was in such a hurry I didn't notice the gear section down below when I first logged on. I had just come back from a trail run "testing" out the UnderArmour ($50 mind you) super high impact, there's no stopping you bra. The only thing good about it was that it made me run faster just so I could get home to take it off! Imagine a thermal blanket attached by a rubber band wrapped around your rib cage. I'll try the Champion and RoadRunner Sportek. Thank You for the suggestions!
