    Unhappy I feel yuck!

My body apparently is very sensitive to big weather changes. Just yesterday I was happily riding my bike when my knee started hurting--BAD. As in weather change pain. I've been feeling weighted down and very tired the past 3 days. I was in bed by 8:00 and I still couldn't really function the next day. I noticed on the Weather Channel that we have another big storm system moving through. I had to take the narcotic pain meds last night and I'm not worth dink today. Some friends called to ask me to join them for a cycling adventure and I had to turn them down. I hate feeling yuck. Is anyone else sensitive to weather changes?

It has to do with barometric pressure.
    High pressure=good weather=happy knees.
My scientific theoryhigh barometric pressure presses down on your body, lower the barometric pressure and your body presses outward resulting in pain.

I have an effed up ankle that tells me when it's gonna rain.

I get that weighted down, tired feeling from allergies. We recently finished up with oak pollen season, now it's mold that's making me feel yucky...bleah.

The rain passed through here and ended, I think. There was a tornado warning near Huntsville...never heard if it really was one. Hope it didn't get out your way.

    Feel better Sundial.

Karen, tornados are rearing their ugly heads again. I think one touched down in Osceola and we're under tornado watch until midnight.

Zen, between my cranky knees and hubby's sinus problems, we make a great weather watch team.

Wacky, I've wondered if that feeling was from allergies. Guess I'm not the only one suffering through the pollen season.

On top of everything else, we've got smoke from when they burn the fields down in Mexico (to prepare for the new planting season). I swear San Antonio is the allergy capital of the world.

Maybe the TV weather people should start getting their forecast info from the retirement home

Yup. I am. I wake up feeling really tired and like I have no energy. Even though I got a good night of sleep. My body gets achy as well. I hate it!

    I feel better today!

I woke up pretty chipper. It's amazing how weather can affect us. The storms have passed and I feel like a weight has been lifted.

Yes, the storms have passed right on to here! We're getting 40 mph winds right now!

SilverSon just asked me if I wanted to go for a ride! I said we'd tie two corners of a sheet to each shoulder and just let the wind take us!
