    I Just May Try...

Here in snowy Massachusetts the temps. are supposed to hit 40 degree's tomorrow which is a real warm-up since we have been living in the teens and twenties. So, my son and I may take that leap of faith and ride. Our goal is 20 miles but here's hoping we can do more Also, don't forget Cyclism Sunday starts this weekend...

Sending lots of warm vibes! We managed to ride through January with day time highs of only 40 but then we didn't have any ice to deal with.

Yup, it was actually biking weather today in northeast Massachusetts! I kept thinking it was too cold - it was in the low 30s when I headed out - but I finally convinced myself that 32 degrees and sunshine was enough to lure me and my bike out on the road. I wasn't in the mood to trash my bike today, so I stayed on the main road (route 125, because it was dry) that goes by my townhouse and did an out and back and out and back ride - my odd way of doing a loop by staying on one road! Anyway, I'm really glad that I got out there today. It was nice riding on a dry road and looking off to the side into the still totally snow-covered wooded areas!

Here's hoping that I can repeat my ride tomorrow. The forecast calls for a 50% chance of snow showers tomorrow, and it also sounds like we may get hit with a big storm again Monday into Tuesday. Say it isn't so!

    Hear, hear! Here's to spring!

We've had the occasional warm day (that's anything over 40 here in Ia) but not many. Today was gorgeous! Had to be 45, at least, and the wind wasn't too bad. Tomorrow promises to be better. 58 is predicted! It won't get there, but anything over 50 would be incredible! I am so stoked! Rode today, will ride tomorrow, and not have to loaded down with layers and layers of clothing.

I will be hoping all of you out east escape more snow and cold! It's time to ride!
