Not sure if this is the right way to do this. Please let me know if it is not working. Not sure how to put a link so everyone can go and see the pic's?

The link works, but it says that there are no photos
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

I think you have to make the photos "public" Brandi, so we can see them...

When you upload pics to flickr, you have a spot where you make them public or private. You must have made them private. Or you forgot to upload them.

    Thanks for the photos

We did not go to Pahoa this year so I really enjoyed your photos. Have you ever tried the passion fruit margaritas at Luquins? My favorite. Oh, and the fish tacos.Yumm! How far did you have to hike to see the lava flow? Amazing sight, isn't it? Could you tell me where the Mermaid ponds are located? Looks a lot like the Vacationland area to me. I'm glad the whales were still there for you. We hope to retire there some day. We have a little lot near Kehana Beach just waiting for us to build. Already planning for next year's trip.

Wow someone else who knows Pahoa! Isn't it a great little town? I have not had the passion fruit marg's at Luquins. Only the reg on the rocks but with the Li hing powder on the rim instead of salt.
I wish I could tell you where the mermaid ponds are but all I know is it is the dirt road before the sign by the grave sites.
Not quite like vacationland. I think vacationland has more to offer. The ponds are just very private and the waves put on a fun show!
We drove to the flow and sat in our cars and watched. I would say the flow was about a mile away. Showed up really good at night.
We are planning to go again next year too! It is such a perfect trip for us to go on. And our friends that live there are really good friends. I always cry when we leave. I miss it already!
It barely rained by the way the whole time. It did a bit at night but just sprinkled a few times during the day! We were very lucky. But now they are having a drought. The had to water their plants while we were there, they hardly ever have to do that.

Cool! I guess I could post a picture of me scraping ice off my windshield in a snow storm at the office this week...that would give perspective...

I did ask first. And you have to go look at my pictures. They are not posted here so as to not rub it in.
I am sorry you live in such a cold place. There is a house for sale across the street from me for pretty cheap.
