    March 1st rides

What a beautiful day we have been blessed with in the Ohio Valley today. The sun (almost forgot what it looked like) made a brief visit this morning and it was welcomed with open arms. The temps climbed into the low 50's today and that was all I needed to take the bike out for a spin. It was not a long ride (14 miles) for I plan to join the LBC on their scheduled century tomorrow. I simply wanted to see how my lungs would handle some exercise after my asthma attack last weekend. The air was moving nicely, no tightness or shortness of breath so I think all is healed. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's ride!

I finished putting together my new Bike Friday and off I went! It's really nice! It feels like riding a "normal" bike, and it's so comfortable. It was made based on the measurements of my favorite road bike, and it feels just right.

Nice day, in the mid-50s, sunny, but windy.

downloading now! Should I start a new thread or keep it here? hmmm...I don't like to attract alot of attention to myself with a whole new thread. I think I'll put it down in the subsection called Bikes.

Either way is awesome! I owe you guys pictures too - we have a new tandem (have to go pick it up from the shop). It's pre-loved, but we've had a little work done to it

Raleighdon and I were invited to partake in a 50 mile ride. I wanted to stay home and paint.
So he went on the ride and I stayed home, did chores and painted. At 2pm he called me and asked me to meet him about a mile from here on my bike. So I rode down the hill and we rode to Seward park and a bit beyond and then back across the hill. 10 miles on a day i wasn't really going to ride. Oh, and he got 77 miles. and I still didn't wear him out.

for six tanks of gas you could have bought a bike.
