    Seattle-going to Norwescon?

Anybody here going to Norwescon 31 this weekend? See, this is related to biking. I am taking a week off after the convention so I can ride and recover. Hopefully I will rededicate myself to training.

Come and say hi, I will leave a note on the message board.

Man, I haven't been there in 15 years! Last time I was there I was hugely pregnant (I was costumed as a pregnant elf. Pretty funny!)

    WHAT IS IT???
Had to look myself... here' the description from their website:

    What is Norwescon?

Norwescon is one of the largest regional Science Fiction conventions in the United States. While maintaining a primarily literary focus, Norwescon is large enough to provide a venue for many of the other aspects of Science Fiction and the interests of its fans such as anime, costuming, art, and much, much more.

Norwescon is the host convention for the prestigious Philip K. **** Award, given to a distinguished original science fiction paperback published for the first time during the award year in the U.S.A.

Finally Norwescon is a lot of fun.

I've never been to Norwescon, but I often go to the IAFA conference. It's an interesting mix of sci fi scholars and fans, and always a great time. Have fun!
