Yet another reason that Portland is cool.

Wonder if they'd come move me from Philly/![]()

I ran across this earlier today while procrastinating on Bikesnob NYC:

(you have to scroll down).
Of course he was typically sarcastic about it. Don't blame me, I'm just the messenger.
OT: I found a new cycling blog (to waste time on...) thanks to BSNYC today. It's called "Belgium Knee Warmers":

Bike Snob: lol
I helped a friend move on Saturday, by bike. I had to beg her to let me help. I borrowed a bikes-at-work trailer from another friend and got there early so there'd still be stuff for me to move. Fortunately it was just me & my bike, and her & her car. Her other friend with her boyfriend & his pickup showed up right at the end, when all that was left was heavy furniture. Which I *could* have done myself, it just would have taken me three trips, whereas he did it in one.
Back in October I helped the city's PedNet move into their new office, they did the move by bike. Like they said in the Portland video, we had more people, bikes & trailers than we needed.
Haa haa, that's freakin' awesome!

DH and I are moving at the end of May. Of course, we live in Houston, so I don't think anyone would want to help us. Even with a truck.![]()
