    Showers Pass...down with unisex indeed

I wanted a Showers Pass rain jacket so badly!!! I tried a whole bunch of them and they fit badly....the XL was too narrow in the hips, too floppy everywhere else...

then on a last chance (power drive), and becasue of a recent thread here, I ordered a Women's Century in L and by golly, it fits perfectly!!

what a relief!!!!!!!!!!!! Moral of the story...if you have a curvy body, unisex will only depress you. Or me.

    A Woman's Century? What's that? Link please!
Elk, you and i have similar pear shaped figures- you are just a couple inches shorter I think. I always have trouble with things fitting on top but just too snug around the hips as well. I hate those tight elastic waisbands- they should be outlawed!

I think I got the last one from Velo, but they might have an M still at Showers Pass. Write or call them.

Well, I'm sort of hourglass too, not very busty though, but I do have a small waist. Because I'm smallish on top I think of it as pear shaped.

Thanks for the jacket tip. I'll have to wait on it though for now.

Yes! Yes! I think we were discussing this on a recent thread I started about rain jackets. The women's Century is great. They will be replacing it around March with the women's Double Century. Same cut, different (but similar) fabric.
