IMO you'd have to be a super geek to buy this stuff.

The ALLAN DAVIS bike is in my size (52). Good thing I'm not even close to being able to afford it.
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

Zen, you always make me laugh! I think we must have the same sense of humor, only you are a bit more quick on the draw than I.

Did you gals read the fine print?!?!?! I don't think these are 'gently used' and for $10,000+ they won't even gurantee that they are rideable! Do you know how many miles a week those guys ride? I bet the drive trains are shot.

"The bike has been used by a Discovery Channel Team rider and WILL BE SOLD “AS IS.” Therefore it can be assumed that the bike will have markings and features related to a used bike. Tailwind Sports (and its officers, directors, shareholders, and management company), Trek Bicycle Corporation, any and all component manufacturers and their staff DO NOT CERTIFY THAT THIS BIKE, IN ITS CURRENT STATE, IS IN RIDING CONDITION AND ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES INCURRED TO THE BIKE OR ANY INDIVIDUALS ATTEMPTING TO RIDE THE BIKE."

The other funny or not so funny thing I've noticed is that th helmets being sold are almost all small size. one is a medium. ??? ???

Most guys I know wear a large. Soo umm like are these guys all muscle and no brain? I told one guy, "hey you have several handicaps over the pro riders. less lung capacity, and your larger brain sucks up more oxygen than these guys. No wonder you can't even come close. "

Not to mention how many times it was flung into the asphalt in a fit of disgust (or lack of self-discipline).

There are quite a few in my size, 58 cm. I'd love to have one.....for about $10! I wouldn't want one to look at, I'd want to ride it. I suppose if I knew it would be worth $100,000 next year...but what are the chances of that!
