Hey, the poor girl has a cold and is feeling sick this evening. She should sleep tonight and worry about the new bike tomorrow instead of battling traffic in the cold at night with a sick head....

Plenty of time for drooling tomorrow.

OK. Since it's pitch black out I had to bring the filthy commuter bike inside.. hopefully mama beane is not reading this; she'd be disappointed in my dirty ways.. ANYWAY.. below is a pic of the world's greatest commuter bike, my coda sport. note that this bike has many upgrades/changes from stock specs. it's an '05 that I got a good deal on this spring. let me say that I love this bike even though compared to my road bike it is heavy and slow!

yeah...more photos please!! The Coda was the 1st steel road bike I tried on this latest caper and it really stuck with me...what a nice ride...it was why I just HAD to go back and check that aurora again!

I feel a LITTLE better with my bike here...and here's a crummy photo...I'll take a good one in the daylight.

How the heck does that seatpost not snap off!!!!!

(See my brown Brooks!!? I need recommendations for a brown bar tape to match the saddle/copper of the paint...maybe leather...? Rich brown, cream and black...yum)

My Aurora is the Morgan....my Globe is an apaloosa...

Love the copper color. Your bike looks terrific, and since you love the fit, congratulations! You finally found it!

Good luck finding that bar tape. You can get an exact match with the Brooks tape, but it's pretty pricey. I wound up with brown tape from Soma, but its a light brown. If anyone else knows of a dark brown tape (not cloth), I'd like to know also!

    Gorgeous! Congratulations!

You can get exact match leather tape from Brooks, or you can get cork and use a brown shellac over it to make it match. (I've seen some nice effects with shellac, and I'm pretty sure thats how LisaSH does her bars.)

    Nice bike!

My vote goes to the cork tape like LisaSH has. I love it.
