    New Bike!!!

HI all. I don't post here too much but I know how much I love to see pics of other peoples bikes. I always come here to get my bike fix so I wanted to contribute A few weeks ago wandered into a LBS near a friends house to pick up some tubes and shop for clothes. I was also scouting out bikes for her, Im trying to convince her to ditch the beach cruiser and step up Instead of seeing a bike for her, I noticed they had a 44cm bike on the rack. I'm not even 5' tall and it is sooo hard to find a bike even made in my size let alone just sitting in an LBS waiting for a test ride. If that wasn't enough she was also a 2007 model on SALE!!!!!!!!

I could write a novel about how I rode her and rationalized it and thought about it every day for two weeks, but instead I'll skip to the good stuff! I got her wedensday and I've only had one ride with her, a fast 25 miles. It was amazing! Such a step up from my old bike, a bottom of the line Dolce. She was a good first bike to get me hooked and she will have a home on the trainer. I keep thinking as much as I hate work getting in the way of riding I do need my job to pay for my bike habit. However tomorrow we're going to play ALL DAY!!!! I can't WAIT!!!

Verrry nice looking bicycle... Cannondale are a good reliable brand...
And it makes it doubly sweet when you are so pleased with your find/choice/decision...

Enjoy playing all day... and don't forget to tell us about it

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".

You must know that my theory is that blue bicycles are inherently faster than all others! - THis is what Pscyclepath taught me when he brought me my first grown up bile- which happens to be blue. It's my Giant Hybrid- named Boo-sikki.

My photo shows Old Blue- Pscyclepath's hand me down Postal blue- Lance blessed Trek 5200.

She's a beaut and I feel sure tht she will tell you her name on your '2nd date.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

What a sweet ride! I'm sure she can't wait to take you out on many rides in the future. I think our bikes choose us, but that's beside the point. I hope you have fun playing today, and we expect to hear all about it!

    Cool bike!

I don't know anything about trainers, but from what I've read here, you may want to put your Dolce on it, and keep this gorgeous bike for outside. It sounds like people often put less expensive tires on the trainer bike wheels, so I'm guessing there's a wear and tear factor. Am I right?

That's totally what I would do. You don't have switch out the skewers every time you want to go outdoors or worry so much about tire wear.

The bike is a beauty. She will tell you her name. It will just pop into your head.
