Can anyone tell me about this particular line of bikes? How do they compare quality wise to Lemond, Trek, Felt, Cannondale, etc? I'm in the process of shopping for a new road bike and am curious about this line.

Jamis is a good company. They have a full line of bikes, from entry level to high high end. This year, their new high end bikes are really really nice. I have a co-worker who has an entry level one that he uses for fun, and he really likes it. I also have a teammate who has a Jamis TT bike which is pretty nice.

All around, I feel that Jamis is pretty similiar to Felt- the entry level bikes are good for the money but nothing special, but the high end bikes are pretty sweet.

Jamis Aurora is a nicely thought out and nicely priced steel touring bike, from what I can see.

    Hi, Mak

Jamis makes a very good bike known for being very well spec'd for the price. Definitely try them out when you do your other test rides and compare. I think you'll find that they are really comparable and maybe even better in their components for the price point....

    Enjoy finding your new bike!

I second what everyone else has said. They're good bikes and well spec'd for the money. I have a Jamis Dakar FS mtn bike. My SO has a Quest road bike and a hardtail mtn bike. They are all nice bikes.
