    Unhappy Ouch..Ouch..Owie

Owie...Sitting here unable to wear shorts or anything else but undies on the bottom half of me body..

Last week i popped some kind of pimple looking thing(TMI-when i popped it, blood oozed out) on the left side of my inner thigh right by the outer edge of my underwear line towards the bottom. I put some Savlon on it, left it alone and pretty much biked without any problems. It didn't really bother me after that but for some reason tonight it's back with a vengeance.

I am rather annoyed as I just want to ride me bike but I seem to have this problem more often than not lately. It's only on my left side.

I've read quite a few posts but am unsure whether or not to purchase another saddle. I just bought one of Trekhawk's ones with a cutout & am happy with it.

Another FYI-I just had my bike fitted by a physio a few weeks ago as well.

I'm going to have to skip my long ride tomorrow morning

perhaps it's not really the saddle (any saddle might do this) sounds like a boil..
there's medication you can get for it; go to your doc, girl!

Indeed, Mimi is probably right! Additionally, it may be caused more by a food allergy/intolerance, than by biking. I used to have similar smaller "blemishes" in the area very often. Since the restricted diet and general work to get healthier, I almost never do now! I also used a product call JAson Tea Tree Gel (contains aloe, tea tree, arnica, witch hazel and roman chamomile I think), which did wonders, too. And I always always always change out of my bike shorts as soon after a ride as possible.....

Maybe one of these things can help you?

Doesn't hurt to see a doc, too!

    Hugs and big happy butterflies,

I used to get these when I rode, didn't matter what saddle. It seems that once you get one in an area, it tends to keep coming back - i don't think you quite ever get it healed when you keep riding. Instead, I found this salve called Super Salve - it works

I have a persistant bump that festers whenever I ride long lately. It's a hard lump right around the spot CC describes- and yeah IT HURTS!
    It's driving me nuts!!

But ohh yeah <<<<<CC>>>>>>>>> I feel your pain! LITERALLY, I FEEL your pain!

BTW- about time for another box ehh??? I do believe it's spring time down yonder. Time for those long rides! And just wait until you try the new Luna Moons. If you thought clif bloks were cool, wait until you taste the Luna moons!! BOY HOWDY are they GOOD!!!!!

    Thanks

    THanks ladies,

I need to go & see my dr anyways so hopefully he might be able to help.

In the meantime, should i go nuts & not bike for another few days? It's an open sore and would like it to heal but am dying to bike..

I've never heard of the ointments you're referring to though. Will Savlon still help??

RM-I'm waiting for an item I purchased online to arrive & can't send any boxes for anyone yet so hold off..

It isn't mrsa is it? My hubby had it you know. And it looked like a pimple. He popped it and that is when it got really mad! I hope you have gone to the Dr for this?
