I knew about the Brooks, but I just don't think I can put that much into hand grips. LOVE the second ones and LOOK, that is also my Nantucket basket...and my castle in the background!![]()

The cork ones Rivendell sells really are very pretty when they've been shellacked or varnished or whatever it is.
Very classic looking, and very comfortable/warm to the touch. I saw one at Rivendell with albatross bars and the cork grips. They offered to let me ride it, but I was afraid to...

I have a black Brooks saddle on my road bike.
I'd love to put a honey colored Brooks with brown grips on my new mixte, WHENEVER it gets here (for something different).
Someone on the "show us your mixte thread had a red bike with brown saddle and grips. Do you think brown would look bad on this bike (with different handlebars) considering it has the small touches of black on it?
