    Unhappy Heartbreak in US cycling...

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Both Navigator's Insurance and Kodak Gallery have decided to pull sponsorship from US cycling teams. Navigator's has been sponsoring teams for 14 years and is the longest running cycling team in the US.

While I have faith in the future of cycling, because of teams like Slipstream, it's a bit frightening to see these major companies pulling out of the world of cycling.

Just thought I would drop a line about this...on to happier things!

Wow. I don't know much about the Kodak team, but I know that Navigator's got some darned good riders. I hope they'll all be able to find new teams for next year!

Kodak is also Sierra Nevada, and they have some really good American riders (Ben Raby and Ryan Trebon - Cross rider). I got to meet a few of them at the Tour de' Toona...great guys, great team. Anyway...very unfortunate...

    Something fortunate though...and fun...

make sure to cast your vote tomorrow for the new Slipstream jersey! They have been having a competition where people could design a new kit for the team (some are great...others...not so much!). Starting tomorrow, you can go to the team web site and cast your vote. Kinda fun, eh?
