Ahh, you and Team Postal! I almost bought that when I got my new bike and discovered my old cyclometer wouldn't fit.

I'm a bit of a geek... email me off list with info and I'll try to help out. I need to know your OS (MAC, Win??) and the problem. Oh, and the model # of the HRM.

I'm using the HAC4 Plus on a PC with Windows XP and the USB HacTronic interface. When I download, both the watch and the PC show that data is being transferred, but then no info shows up in the CicloTrainer screen afterward. CicloTour, andother program just says that there was an error in the program after downloading. HacTronic - the piece of software designed to help download from the watch also show only altitude info on the screen after download. There are absolutely no instructions for any of this so I'm a little lost.

    Thanks for the help!

OK... so far I've found version updates to the HACtronic software as well as the CicloTour software.

Open both programs on your pc. Click Help-About *** and write down the versios of both software packages.

If you aren't at the following go to the Ciclosport download page and download the updates. Make sure that you download all the instruction files as well.

    HACtronic version 1.51 build 50
    CicloTour version 1.31

    the site for downloads is:

    http://www.ciclosport.de/eng/html/do.../start.htm#hac

There isn't a "troubleshooting" index on the site (or I haven't found it yet, but I'm checking other sources.

I just found another site and it's in english AND dedicated to the HAC4.

    http://www.HAC4.com

I'm checking it out, but by all means jump in and see what you see.

    Thanks Spazzdog!

Thanks for all your help. You're a superstar! The main issue I'm having is navigating through the software. It's all downloaded and the cyclometer works fine. Each day I've figured out something new with the software - with the help of my uber-dedicated esposo (husband). I think I was especially frustrated the first day I couldn't figure anything out.

    Thanks again Spazzdog!
And for anybody thinking about getting a Hac4: Your patience will be tested as there are NO instructions for using the software.

Cathy, at hac4.com they listed manuals on their front page. Cruise over there and see if theres one that fits the bill.

    Good luck!
