    Here's one

I found this one on a temp tatt site. I like the image though and you could get an artist to work with you to create 2 of a similar style but with different perspectives.

I suggest definintely searching google images for one that is similar to what you're looking for and then get the tattoo artist to recreate it and change it up to your own preferences.

istockphoto.com has a of stuff in their illustration category. If you find something you like, you can download it for pretty cheap.

Start prowling bookstores too. Look at tattoo books and magazines, art books, particularly Asian Art.

Failing all that, go to a tattoo shop and tell them what you want and where you want it. Chances are, they will either have some flash or a picture in a book of what you want. Or they can draw it up for you. A good artist will take into account things like your skin tone and how your body flows in the area you want the tattoo. A good tattoo in the wrong place still looks like hell.

I've been under the needle somewhere around 15 times in 4 different states and I've never seen an artist that wouldn't draw the design on you first so you can see how it'll look before things get permanent.

My wife and I are planning a big piece for my left thigh. A tiger with a dragon and three monkeys in a particular Asian style. The animals are based on our signs in the Chinese Zodiac. My wife is a tiger, our son is a dragon. My son from my first marriage, my daughter and I are all monkeys. The tiger will be the center of the piece and will have one of the monkeys caught by the tail (that'd be me).

Is SGTiger your wife? You know, DH's are invited on Seattle TE rides. You wouldn't be the only man there!

    Sorry for the drift, Hellosunshine.

Yup, SGTiger is my keeper. She claims keeping track of me is not a one-woman job but she's been doing so for nearly 12 years now.

I was supposed to do a ride with you all but we ended up not going. I've been trying hard to encourage her to get out and ride with other people. As much for the companionship as anything else. It'd be cool for me too.

I frequently end up being the cat at the front of the paceline because I tend to hold a decent, steady pace. I don't normally care who's back or what they are doing as long as they don't half-wheel me. I towed one lady from Kenmore to the U-District at 17 mph once. She seemed really happy when we parted ways. She explained that she'd been feeling a little "sluggish" lately but once she caught my wheel, her intent was to see how long she could hold it. I think it was in her the whole time but if I can help someone feel better about themselves, I'm all for it.

The problem we've been having is finding someone to mind the rug monkeys while we ride. We can put our daughter in her trailer and go for hours, but the boy is a little more complicated. Too big for a trailer and while he likes the trail-a-bike, he's only good for about 10 miles before he's done. When he's done, everyone knows it.

So, I tend to do my riding after she gets home from yoga because I'm comfortable riding in the dark. Weekends are hers to go on rides as she pleases. Thus, you are more likely to see her on a ride than me.
