My husband sent me this website, I was wondering if anyone had tried it (I did a search here but came up with nothing, so I apologize if this info is in another thread)

    Bizarre

Pascale, I have never heard of the moon saddle before. I followed your link to the web site and, in my opinion, they don't do a very good job of explaining much about it. Lots of terminology but not much explanation. I still haven't figured out exactly which way you're supposed to sit on it!

That's really a bizarre saddle. I'm curious to know if anyone's actually tried it, too!

I've never seen this particular saddle, but I've seen nose-less saddles discussed in other forums. The general opinion is that they might be fine for very simple cruising but that not having a nose makes it difficult to do any more technical or aggressive riding. You use the nose when you shift your weight around fast turns or when going downhill. Without it you lose that level of control.

I tried one similar, and it was an absolute disaster.

I had no control over the bike, and nearly crashed several times.

(a long nose is crucial to my riding style, it's how I steer the bike!)

My current winner saddle: Brooks B67. (I have two)
